North Melbourne’s annual rookie camp concluded today at North Hobart oval with a training session and free clinic for children aged between 5 and 12 years of age.
Brady Rawlings and his group of first year players, which included Mason Wood and American recruit Eric “The Beast” Wallace were all on hand to meet approximately 100 children and their families and to run a clinic on North Hobart Oval.
Southern Tasmanian State League Club development representatives were all on hand as well to assist and the sausage sizzle provided by RACT was as always very popular with patrons.
The clinic was the final event in a busy week for North Melbourne first year players that has seen them travel to Dunalley to support the bush fire affected communities of the Tasman Peninsula and undergo a series of intensive training and education sessions aimed at accelerating their development.
