A big thank you to Mel Smith from Cairns Women's League for her assistance over the weekend with all the little things. Thanks also to AFL Cairns and AFL Cairns Juniors with their assistance with competition management while I wasn't able to be there. Thanks to North Cairns AFC for hosting the Championships again. They have hosted 3 out of the 4 times so far and done a fantastic job everytime. Thanks also to North Cairns Women's team for catering for the bbq on Friday night and lunches for the teams and umpires on the Saturday and Sunday. Thanks Arthur for his timekeeping and siren blowing as only he can do. And lastly thanks to all those supporters of Women's and Youth Girls football who believe in letting every girl have the opportunity to play football whether they be at school, club or representative level. You assist me in my job more than you can understand.
