Tim Cahill Spends Time With Marrickville Juniors

Socceroo, Everton and junior Marrickville Red Devils player Tim Cahill spent time at Tempe Reserve yesterday (Tuesday 6 July) for media and promotional commitments as well as spending time with some lucky Marrickville junior players.

This was a unique opportunity at short notice for the lucky few to meet one of the worlds premier football players. Cahill showed his commitment to his grass roots club Marrickville by wearing the club's playing top throughout the afternoon in front of the media. Even as the rain started to fall, Cahill remained to meet and sign items with the children in attendance.

The opportunity was also used for Association representatives to present Cahill, an CDSFA Patron, with an Association jacket of which he was proud to receive.

The Association as well as the Marrickville club are proud of the good relationship that exists between the football superstar and grass roots football.
