AFL Victoria is now seeking expressions of interest for new clubs to join the ever growing Youth Girls competition in 2010.
The Youth Girls competition is an all female community based football competition for girls aged 13-18. Teams come from community based football clubs and participate in a weekly competition in their local region.
In 2009 there were 686 girls playing in 32 teams in six competitions across Melbourne, Bendigo and Geelong. A complete representative pathway exists also with Victorian and Interstate Championships played each year.
AFL Victoria is very interested in establishing competitions in new regions and in expanding the current competitions to include more teams.
Please see the Club Information Guide for information on what is required to establish your own team. Included in the booklet is an Expression of Interest form.
