MAJOR BOOST FOR PBC HIGH SCHOOL The Palm Beach Currumbin State High School sports excellence program has received a major boost via funding from prominent local AFL identity and businessman Ian Fraser. Nudgee College find their Rhythm A swift and improved under 15 Nudgee College outfit over came the focussed Ipswich Grammar School on Monday evening (31/08/2009) 93 points to 21, in a game where both teams had a point to prove. Recovering from a devastating 6 point loss a week earlier, Nudgee College was hungry for a win, while Ipswich was looking for improvement after a more than disappointing start to the season. more -->
Sheldon outlasts Ormiston Sheldon College has stamped themselves out as a strong contender for the Open Boys Division Three title, with a strong display against a worthy opponent in Ormiston College on Monday night. Coming into the match as the only undefeated team in the competition, Sheldon proved themselves to be more than a threat to the premiership and one can only hope this form continues. more -->
Excellence School tours Melbourne Twenty two students from PBC's Sports Excellence program have recently returned from a memorable five day tour of Melbourne. The tour organised by PBC's football director Neil Mackay aims to develop the players football education but more importantly their personal development. more -->
