TERM TWO: KIWI HOOPS CLUB PROGRAMME
The Kiwi Hoops clubs activities are designed to assist players to develop their basketball game in a fun setting under Basketball New Zealand Kiwihoops programme
- Bounce (5yr to 6yr)
- Mini (7yr to 8yr)
- Pro (9yr to 10yr)
- All Star (11yr to 12yr)
Basketball Hawke’s Bay’s Coaches will run weekly basketball sessions in Hastings, Napier and Flaxmere for primary and intermediate school pupils.
Our goal is to give kids the opportunity to develop and refine their basketball skills in a positive, fun and well-organised learning environment. The programs are geared toward fundamental development in the following areas: body movement, basketball specific Skills and Game like skills.
The programme assists the players to gain an improved positive attitude, a greater appreciation for good moral values, and a better understanding of the keys that will lead to their own success. The sport is basketball, but the most important element is the children's overall personal development.
Monday Hastings (Start date: 4th May)
Ebbett Park School
Bounce/Mini year 3:30pm to 4pm
Pro/All Star 4pm-5pm
Tuesday Napier (Start date: 28th April)
William Colenso College, Bounce/Mini year 3:30pm to 4pm
Pro/All Star 4pm-5pm
Thursday Hastings/Flaxmere – Flaxrock (Start date: 7th May) Flaxmere Community Centre
Bounce/Mini year 3:30pm to 4pm
Pro/All Star 4pm-5pm
Cost: Under 9 year old $20.00, 9 years and older $40 for 8 weeks or $10 per session for walk-ins.
Payment can be made by cash or cheque at our office at 96A Nuffield Avenue, Marewa (Mon-Fri 9.00am to 4.00pm) or by internet banking. Our account details are: ASB 12 3144 0177861 01 (use ‘Hoops (venue)’ and your child’s name as reference) or by credit card
