Lori McDaniel Appointed Wildcats' Head Coach
The Canterbury Basketball Association would like to congratulate Lori McDaniel (nee Ives) on her appointment as Wildcats Head Coach for 2015 and 2016. Lori, a former Wildcats player, has spent time both in New Zealand and the USA playing top level basketball (at Butler University) before turning her hand to coaching. Her coaching CV includes time involved in US College programmes and more recently Lori has been involved in the BBNZ development programme, Canterbury Country programme and CBA’s Summer Academies, as well as coaching in the CBA Premier Women’s Club competition.
Lori brings a drive, enthusiasm and passion to the role and the Association looks forward to working with her as she continues to lift the standards in the women’s game.
The format for Basketball New Zealand’s 2015 WBC is yet to be finalised.
