VENOM ALL GEARED UP FOR SEASON START
Training is ongoing, practice games are in full swing and our 4 Venom Big V teams are fully prepared for the season opener on Saturday 15th March.
Our head coaches, Nicole Howard (State Championship Women), Arnie Giffenng (Division 1 Senior Men), Damian Clarke (Division 1 Youth League Women) and Beau Bentley (Division 2 Youth League Men) are confident their players have done their best to make 2014 a successful year for Warrandyte Venom Big V.
Following on from the success our Senior Women and Youth League Women enjoyed in 2013, our Senior Men and Youth League Men are hoping to follow on and gain some of their own glory. YLM Coach Bentley says his squad have given their all in pre season preparations and are enthusiastically awaiting their first pratice match this Saturday night, 6.00pm at Templestowe Leisure Centre against Bulleen.
There are 7 planned Venom Big V practice games beginning Thursday 20 February. See below for details. Your support is what helps our teams succeed so if you can, get to one of the venues and them cheer them on.
