ANOTHER impressive performance from Jason Reardon has helped Pivot City maintain top spot on the GBL Winter Championship Division 1 men’s ladder.

The Pivotonians held off Lara 80-74 in one of the matches of the season so far.

Reardon finished with a game-high 33 points,

Youngster Dusty Duggan provided the support with 16 points.

Big men Ash Cannan (24 points) and Lindsay Cole (22 points) did everything they could to get Lara over the line.

Christian College consolidated second spot on the ladder with an 89-62 win over Sharks.

The Eagles were on top from early on, leading 24-11 at quarter time.

SEABL Supercat Liam McInerney continued his good run of form at all levels, dropping 31 points.

Teammate Jackson Bentley was good as effective as he knocked down eight three-point shots in his 28 points.

Arnaud Lenferna paced Sharks’ scoring with 15 points, with James Deocampo contributing 12.

Lewie Varley and Riley Herbert have combined to guide YMCA to a 68-43 victory over Try Boys.

Dolphins continue to set the pace in the Division 1 women’s competition following a stunning second-half comeback against Sharks.

After an even first quarter where Sharks led 21-20, the reigning champions appeared to be in control when they outscored Dolphins 24-12 in the second period.

However, not for the first time in 2014, Dolphins were able to come from behind to grab victory.

They outscored Sharks 19-13 in the third quarter, and 24-13 in the final term, to claim 75-71 result.

Once again SEABL Lady Supercats skipper Cortney Williamson was the star. She finished with 27 points, while Ebony Rolph and Kim Martin both had 14.

Pivot City continued its winning ways with a comfortable 72-37 result against Lara.

YMCA had too many scoring options for Try Boys to contain in a 74-53 win.

Despite trailing by one at quarter time, Y had opened up a seven-point lead at the main break.

They then put the contest to bed with a 19-4 third quarter.

Tayla Roberts starred with 27 points, while Shae French impressed with 20 and Kelsey Jordan shot 12.
