North Wellington and Onslow Junior Football Clubs
North Wellington and Onslow Football Clubs, 2 of the largest junior football clubs in Wellington, have a vacancy for a 2 Club Coaching Co-ordinator.
The 2C Coaching Co-ordinator is responsible for developing and leading programmes for the benefit of junior coaches belonging to the 2 Clubs as well as a number of specialist programmes for our junior footballers.
This is a part-time position with time split evenly between the 2 clubs and most activity taking place in the late afternoon/early evening and occasionally during the weekends.
The successful applicant will communicate well with and inspire junior coaches, and will be a popular role model to our footballing youngsters and will work with the Clubs’ representatives. Although emphasis will be placed on the ability to deliver excellent programmes and inspire both coaches and players to perform at their best you must be an effective administrator and planner as well as a component of the role is administrative.
Previous coaching experience (coaching juniors and coaching coaches) is essential as well as some form of coaching qualification and an understanding of the modern approach to coaching juniors is also preferred.
