WASH UP FROM QAFL GRAND FINAL

Mt Gravatt defender Tom Tarrant has been offered a nine match suspension based upon an early guilty plea for alleged incidents arising out of Sundays QAFL Grand Final at Giffin Park

Tarrant has been offered six matches for allegedly striking Morningside midfielder David Lillico during the first quarter. He has been offered three matches for allegedly striking Morningside forward Matt Logan during the first quarter

Both incidents were reported by Field Umpire Ben Ryan and led to the subsequent sending off of Tarrant during the opening stanza of the 2009 Grand Final

Both Mt Gravatt forward Shane Morrison and Morningside defender Ben Gibson have been offered one match based upon an early guilty plea for allegedly striking each other during the second quarter in a report laid by Goal Umpire Rod Valentine

Morrison was also reported by Field Umpire Ben Ryan for allegedly striking Morningside defender/ruckman Brett Connell in the second quarter. He has been offered a two match suspension based upon an early guilty plea for this charge

Should any of the charged players wish to defend the charges they will be heard by the AFLQ Independent Tribunal next Monday night September 28.
