2015 WORLD CHAMPS - Preliminary registration
Deaf Sports Australia have entered Australia for both the mens and womens competitions at the 2015 World Deaf Basketball Championships in July. Deaf Basketball Australia are now working on a timeline to put together a competitive squad of players by July this year when the final entry forms are due.

The deadline date for Preliminary Registration was 3 January 2013.
The mens competition in particular had a good number of registrations, which may mean there is a qualifying process in each region in order to qualify for the World Championships. The womens competition also received a healthy number of registrations, but under the limit which means the qualifying process may not be required. Further information will be released after the final registration deadline of 4th July and it is from that deadline ICSD will determine whether there are to be qualifying tournaments.
