2nd ASIA PACIFIC DEAF CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS - Result

At the just-concluded 2nd AsiaPacific Deaf Basketball Club Championships, Melbourne City, the Australians deaf men's champion club, went back-to-back!

The match results were:

1st Game: Melbourne City 95 def Emperor (Japan) 45

2nd Game: Melbourne City 73 def Taipei Glory (Taiwan) 60

3rd Game: Melbourne City 75 def Tornado Wings (Korea) 31

Grand Final: Melbourne City 72 def Taipei Glory 63

We at Deaf Basketball Australia are mighty proud of their achievement and believe this illustrates Australia's capacity to produce high-performing teams at international level and a very timely boost ahead of the upcoming try-outs for the Workd Deaf Basketball Championships as well as Asia Pacific Deaf Games, both in 2015 and in Taiwan.
