The Canterbury Hockey Association invites applications from coaches interested in coaching Canterbury representative teams at the Under 21, 18 and 16 levels in 2010.
Canterbury Hockey has a proud tradition of being a provincial force at all levels of hockey in New Zealand. As such we are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and innovative coaches to carry on this tradition for the 2010 season and beyond.
Canterbury Hockey is seeking coaching applications for the following teams:
All teams compete in National tournaments at varying dates during the year (Under 21 – May; Under 18 – July; Under 16 – July), with the exception of the Under 16 Development teams that compete at regional tournaments in July.
The successful coach applicants will ideally hold a Hockey NZ certified coaching qualification and have a recent coaching history.
Applications close at 4.00pm, Thursday 12th November, 2009.
It is the Association’s intention to appoint coaches by the end of the 2009 calendar year.
2010 tournament dates and venues will be advised when received from Hockey New Zealand.
