Awards:
VCFL is supplying “league’s best player” medals for each underage team (ie up to 5 per league). Any medallions for team members (for winning or otherwise) are the responsibility of each league. The most recent winners of all shields (except U11s) are requested to either drop them off at Shepley Oval prior to the carnival, or bring them to Shepley Oval on the Wednesday night.
Apparel:
Each VCFL league is reminded of VCFL Rule 26.0, which states that players must wear both guernseys and shorts featuring the official VCFL logo, as determined by the VCFL. This means shorts (for players in all age groups) must feature the VCFL/Worksafe insert. In 2008, two leagues failed to comply with this condition, so in 2009, VCFL funding will be withheld for any league that fails to comply.
