Pink Ribbon - Mothers Day Game

In support of Pink RibbonBreast Cancer research,

the Mt Eliza V. Langwarrin, U16 game on Mothers Day - Sunday 10 May (2.40pm) has been dedicated as the F&DJFL Game of Support.

Fund Raising activites will be in place, and we fully support and congratulate these teams, and Mt Eliza JFC, on this initiative.

F&DJFL are proud to be able to say that many clubs are getting behind the Pink Ribbon initiative, with events and ways of highlighting this cause. At Bruce Park & Baxter Park (Frankston Rovers) matches will be played with Pink footballs, and a special Pink run-through will be in place for the U12 game. Edithvale Rovers will be donating their proceeds for the day. Seaford will be replacing their 'flowers for mums' with a donation to Breast Cancer Research. Just some of the examples of support for the Pink Ribbon cause.

Should you be approached by anyone collecting donations, at any of the F&DJFL matches, we ask that dig deep for a very worthy cause.

Mothers Day is also an opportunity for all Junior Football participants to both thank and congratulate ALL mothers on the support, encouragement and time that they put in to raising our 'Comminity Citizens'.

To all mothers involved in F&DJFL, we thank you for your efforts in supporting junior sport.
