The SDJFL is a "School Based" competition and caters for players from under 16 to players in grade 3 of Primary school. The following clubs are affiliates of the League:
Secondary School Clubs: Echuca; Kyabram; McGuire; Mooroopna; Notre Dame; Rochester; Shepparton High; Tatura; Wanganui.
Primary School Clubs: Bourchier; Grahamvale; Guthrie; Kialla West; Mooroopna; Northerners; Orrvale; St. Brendan's; St. Georges; St. Mel's; Tatura; Wilmot.
Secondary Footy: U16 Division 1; U16 Division 2; U14.
Primary Football: Division1; Division 2 (Section 1 & 2); Division 3.
