Jaylene Injured For Arafura
Hoops 4 Health point guard, Jaylene Bonson will miss the Arafura Games due to a broken finger she sustained last week in a local competition game.
The dynamic point guard will undergo surgery today and will miss up to six weeks. She will be a major loss to the team.
Hoops 4 Health Womens will now have to rely on Michelle Friel and Justine Schmidt (pictured) to take on the point guard duties. Both played at the recent National Under 18 Tournament in Tasmania and should relish the task.
Meanwhile Beijing Olympian Rohanee Cox arrived yesterday and joined the team last night for practice.
