Well Done Is Better Than Well Said

The Australian Film Television and Radio School (Indigenous Programs Unit) ran a four day workshop in Darwin last week for 10 young people in the Darwin region. The workshop was held at the Danila Dilba Youth Service and students from the Malak Re-engagement Centre participated alongside other young people.

Hoops 4 Health Aboriginal Corporation will now utilise the footage for future programs and the young people involved will be welcome to participate in future activities and folow up sessions.

Hoops 4 Health thanks the AFTRS and Danila Dilba Health Service for their support during the week and the Malak Re-engagement Centre staff for transporting the students.

To finish the workshop off, Australia's "most positive person" and MC of Hoops 4 Health, Trendy Trev ran a motivational session for the participants.

The following students now have a certificate from the Australian Film Television and Radio School:

Joe Thardim

Traye Rioli

Jermaine Rickard Young

Kyle Thompson

Tila Gumbala

Liam Wright

Kerrina Rotumah Tamiano

Luwana Ruby Waianga
