Day One consisted of three practice sessions in the afternoon. With the 3 day forecast predicting tops of only 13 degrees, all the heat was going to be on the track.
As the conditions were very cold The Bottle-O Commodore struggled with grip on the circuit.
'We weren't the only ones struggling with grip, everybody's times are down due to lack of grip, it should get better as we get some more rubber on the circuit' Tony commented
Glenn had his first taste of the car in the co-drivers session. He quickly settled in and felt comfortable in the green machine. Glenn's next outing will be at Darwin where he will have more time behind the wheel in preparation for the all important endurance races.
Setting consistant times throughout the three sessions, Tony finished practice in the mid 20s, but looks forward to Qualifying and Race One.
'We didnt have the outright pace today, but the car should be pretty good over a distance'
