This course will run in MAY over two weeks (THURSDAY nights).
You MUST email your intent to participate - as minimum numbers are required for this course to proceed.

• Senior players & TEAM nominated Ref's, 
• Junior players
• Current Referees, wanting to refresh their rule change, and/or technical knowledge.

COURSE OUTLINE:

On Thursday, 7th May 2014 and Thursday, 14th May 2014, a BNSW practical and theoretical course for beginner & improver Basketball referees.   

Trevor Slattery, our Referee Officer for Orange Basketball NSW will deliver the course. 

Please note that this is the theory component required to prepare for on-court training and assessment at an association level.   Existing association referees are encouraged to attend to refresh their technical knowledge.

All course materials will be provided, but participants need to dress in comfortable clothing and sports shoes for the practical parts of the award.

WHO      :  To be a referee you

• must be at least 14 years of age,
• be enthusiastic, reliable and have a willingness to learn

BRING   :    Comfortable clothing, sports shoes, whistle pen/paper
