Does anyone have a raincoat? Whoa.
We have a full weekend of football coming up, starting tonight under dark clouds, torrential rain and extremely wet conditions, with the Etobicoke Roos taking on the Toronto Eagles, in a must win for the blue and yellow. The other games this round include Central Blues vs Hamilton Wildcats, Toronto Rebels vs Guelph Gargoyles, Broadview Hawks vs Ottawa Swans and match of the round: High Park Demons vs Toronto Dingos (on Sunday).
For the die-hard Twitter folk, this weekend's hashtag: #oaflr4.
The round-three Twitter feed was much like the league itself: Hawk dominance. Lots of the Hawks' posting some interesting stuff of late. If you haven't signed up yet, get on board and follow these blokes.

Round Four: Friday Jun.1
1. Etobicoke Roos (2nd) vs (7th) Toronto Eagles (Humber South)
Tonight's match should be a lot closer than it ought to. The heavy rain will make sure scores stay close and goals worth absolute diamonds. The Roos come into this match undefeated on the back of some tough matches against the Demons, Guelph in Guelph and Hamilton in Hamilton. The Eagles have just the one win against the Rebels and are a slim chance tonight. it would take a huge effort, going on their current form, but a win is not impossible when it's raining cats and dogs. I would think the Roos would have too many match-winners across the ground -- too many for the Eagles to handle. Aaron Falcioni would have to kick 12 goals for an Eagles win, but in this weather -- not happening.
Tip: Etobicoke by 38-pts.
Saturday Jun.2
2. Central Blues (9th) vs (8th) Hamilton Wildcats (Humber South)
The Blues are yet to claim a win and have looked thin on depth so far this year. The Wildcats have the one win, against the Eagles in round one but have dropped their past two games. On paper, the Wildcats look like they have the numbers to win their second match this season, to keep them in touch with the top six. Have we seen the Blues' best yet? No. I think their best is yet to come, but they'd want to shift gears soon. Another loss would put them well behind the eight ball. The Wildcats should win this. If they don't, questions marks over their season and finals aspirations will appear. We thought these boys were a top four team.A danger game for the 'Cats, but they should get over the line.
Tip: Hamilton Wildcats by 27-pts.
3. Toronto Rebels vs Guelph Gargoyles (Humber South)
The Rebels are in great form and have surprised a few with their 5th place position on the ladder after three rounds. With wins against the Swans and Blues, the Rebels have gained a bit of momentum and could prove a tough task for the traveling Guelph. The Gargs' on the other hand had a bruising encounter with the Dingos round one, a close against the Roos and comfortable win over the Demons. It's a game, based on those matches, the Gargoyles should win, but write off the Rebels. They have been playing some tough footy too. Hard to see a blow out here. The Gargoyles will have to grind this one out, and, if they bring a full team to Toronto, should be able to leave the city Saturday night with four points.
Tip: Guelph by 18-pts.
4. Broadview Hawks vs Ottawa Swans (U of T Scarborough)
The first-placed Hawks are flying at the moment. Considered a 6th or 7th placed team prior to the season starting, the yellow and gold have come out firing with Nick Shuttleworth, Cody Royle and Conor Dullard leading the way. The Swans battled bravely last week and expect the same attitude this weekend. They'll make the Hawks work hard, but, simply it will be a tough ask to bring back the four points to O'town. No upsets this week, in this game, although, I'd love to see a boil-over. Don't we all?
Tip: Broadview Hawks by 50-pts.
Sunday Jun.3
***Match of the Round***
5. High Park Demons vs Toronto Dingos
This will be a test for both teams to see where they are at. The much touted Demons, were labelled Grand Final contenders this season. Last week's hiding by Guelph might prove to be a wake up call. With just the one win so far against Ottawa (and a good showing against the premiers in round one), the Demons are yet to claim a top six scalp. The Dingos, have won two against the Blues and Swans and dropped a nail biter against Guelph. They too are yet to really test their mettle. Both teams will be going at it hard this weekend, that's for sure. With the loss against Guelph, this leaves this match wide open making it tough to call. Can the kids of High Park deliver in a big game? Will the experienced Dingos unit work as a collective to grind out a potential win? On form, going with the Dingos. And, with ground conditions expected to be choppy, wet and muddy on Sunday, the experienced hardened players of the Red and Black will take it right up to the skilled young guns of the Demons.
Tip: Toronto Dingos by 13-pts
