Interested in refereeing???
The Queensland Corporate Games are looking for referees for the 2010 Games on 15 May at the UQ Centre from 9am. Each game is 30 minutes and they are offering $15 per hour. Formal qualifications not required but solid basketball experience and comfort with calling the shots is needed. Saturday scrimmage
Get your fix of pick up basketball with the University Basketball Club's Saturday scrimmage session - running each Saturday from 2 to 4pm (except Easter Saturday), we will have the UQ Indoor Sports Pavilion booked out for full court pick up games - this isn't trash ball, these are 12 minute games with winners keeping the court. Huge turn out for University Basketball trial day
Thanks to everyone who came out to our trial day on Saturday. We had 25 girls and over 80 guys turn up to show us what they have. University Basketball launches partnership with Western Magic
The University Basketball club and the Western Magic basketball club have established a partnership which will involve the creation of combined womens teams, to be known as University Magic, that will compete in the GBL Gold and GBL Silver competitions as part of the Brisbane Basketball Association.

University Basketball joins Sporting Pulse network
The University Basketball Club has set up a new web presence on the Sporting Pulse network. This will give our members an easier ability to keep track of their game times as well as enable players to easily and quickly join the club on-line.
