DOHA: Power Horse Energy Drink suffered yet another heartbreaking 77-71 loss at the hands of defending champion Chowking Qatar in the 7th Vodafone Qatar Basketball Cup 2010 of Pinoy Basketball of Qatar (PIBAQ).

Led by power center Jojo Longalong, Power Horse had all the chances to grab the lead after equalising the game at 61-all with 3:15 left in the last quarter but they lost the will and energy to stay in the momentum when Chowking started applying pressure defence.
Because of this, Chowking remain on top of the standing with three wins and no loss record while Power Horse is still placed at the cellar alongside Vodafone Qatar with no win and three losses

Longalong can’t seem to get the play going inside the keyhole while reliable Arman Catibog started missing the charity shots to stay in the contention of the game.

In the other game, Ali Café dumped Qatar Kentz, 78-54, in a one-sided game that this improved their record into two wins and one loss while Qatar Kentz who was dominating in their first two assignments dropped to two wins and two losses.

Just like in their previous game, former PBA star Arnold Calo of the Qatar Kentz only contributed seven points but power forward Michael Paderes dominated the scores with 28 points, four of them in the perfect record in three-point rainbow territory.

There have been so many missed shots committed by Qatar Kentz while Ali Café converted even difficult shots inside the heavily guarded keyhole that they maintained the lead right from the very start until the fnal buzzer.

In the games at Al Gharafa Multi-Purpose Training Gym where the Division B Category was being played, IMCO Engineering came out victorious over Qatar United Travels, 80-73, whle Combined Group also won aganst I Love Qatar.net, 93-73. Combined Group is now placed on top of the rankings wth three wins and no loss and Qatar United Travels settled in the lower position with their two straight losses.

Combined Group has also registed two wins and no loss while I Love Qatar.net had one loss and one win.

In the same Category at Al Arabi Sports Club, Qatalum won over Pampanga All Stars, 60-56, while Al Khor Community took the ballgame on their hands over PDC Tamweem, 82-73. Qatalum has now a record of two wins and no loss, Pampanga dropped to two losses and no win.

Al Khor have two wins and one loss while PDC Tamweem has one win and one loss.
