DOHA: PALMERAS Tfcmi returned to Al Gharafa Training Gym after their back-to-back losses to take on Dukhan Ballers. Unlike their games against Qafac and Qat-Art Design (One Family), the players of Tfcmi were on a high and dominated the entire game, which ended with the score reading 67-53 in their favour.

Calo and Valconcha led the scoring spree of the team coached by Rey Eusebio. Tfcmi, which is currently placed seventh in team standings, will fight for a slot in the forthcoming quarterfinal of the tourney.

After a hot start to the season, Mabuhay Restaurant's winning streak finally ended when it went down to One Family in a nail-biting match, 94-90. One Family is currently enjoying a great run of four wins and no losses, putting them on the top of the pack.

MCM, which is at the bottom of the ladder, earned their sixth consecutive loss when L'Arc En Ciel (Steelers) defeated them by a 16-point advantage. The final score was 73-57. Steelers' Nolasco was in top form during the match and contributed 24 points to his team.

Qafac, currently placed third in team standings for the tournament, pulled off another victory against Bluu Gulf, but the hard way. A single point separated the two teams that could have likely to cost Qafac its top slot. The game ended with the score 91-90.

While QDVC-LRT bagged another win against Power Horse Energy Drink with a 13-point edge, 98-85.

In the 40-Above Division, teams QP Dukhan and ETC Solution secured their slots at the conclusion of the first elimination round of the division. Each enjoys a 4-1 standing.

Teams Firelink-CEG International, Khalifa Vintage, Kwarentadoz Warriors and Sfortysvoys will have to battle it out to stay in the tournament in the next schedule of the Pibaq tourney.

The Pibaq 15th season is presented and sponsored by Diana Jewellery and Watches and the Boracay Filipino Restaurant.
