Club Based Referees Course
Mackay & Regional Football Zone are currently holding a Club Based Referee Course in conjunction with the Level 4 refereees course for anyone interested in becoming a referee to help out their local club in 2015 and beyond.
The role of Club Referee's is becoming an integral part of the game here in Mackay as more competitions both locally and state wide are drawing a higher demand on our fully affiliated Mackay & Regional Football registered match officials and thus Club Referees are providing a way to ensure as many games as possible are getting covered at local clubs.
Club Referees also have the opportunity to earn a little extra pocket money from helping out at their local clubs and on completion of the one day course, will receive a Club Referee shirt for match days.
Each senior club will also receive the following equipment: Set of Assistant Referee's flags, whistle and a set of yellow and red cards.
