RESPECT CAMPAIGN

TO ALL:

Football Federation Australia have advised that they will be supporting and implementing a RESPECT campaign in 2013, aimed at encouraging positive behaviour by players, team officials and match officials. The first steps in this campaign involve the acknowledgement and signing of Codes of Conduct by the registered participants. Senior players and match officials are accepting the Code of Conduct when they register on-line whilst junior players and parents are being asked to sign a team form.

A sample of the junior form is attached for your reference and will be distributed to have every team between the ages of 5 and 17 complete and return to their club secretary within the first four weeks of competition. Football Qld will be arranging that delivery over the next fortnight.

We all support the principle of higher standards of  behaviour in our sport and we ask that every club administrations' ensure this program and information is distributed and followed through.

Should you need further information on this matter, please do not hesitate to contact the office of FNQ Football.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
