The Far North Queensland Soccer Zone has been succesful in an application for funding under the "Get in the Game" programme initiated by the Qld Governments National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing Portfolio.
The $100,000.00 grant will be used in conjunction with cash reserves of the FNQ Soccer Zone and in kind funding from the Cairns Regional Council to reinstall the lighting on Field 2 and erect new lights for Field 3 at Endeavour Park.
The funding to revitalize Endeavour Park last year did not include replacing the existing lights which had to be removed to allow the new configuration to take place.
We would like to thank the State Government and our local Regional Council in assisting us with this magnificent contribution which will help us enhance the improvements of our facilities at Endeavour Park for use by all of our FFA member clubs and others in the community.
