Hospital successfully kicked off defense of its FFAS Business Tournament title
with a 1-0 win against Nana’s Co. (Pool A) at Pago Park Soccer Stadium on
Thursday, May 20, 2010.
FFAS President Iuli Alex Godinet officially
kicked off the competition by welcoming the teams and then kicking the official
penalty shot.
2009’s runner-up to LBJ, EMS 1, also won in
their debut after dispatching ASCC Land Grant 3-0 in Pool B action.
In Pool A games it was ANZ Amerika Samoa
Bank 0, DMWR 0 and ASRCD 2, Pacific Printing 2.
Blue Sky was idle and will open their
season on May 24 against ASCC Land Grant.
As for Pool B matches it was Night Hawk 4,
EMS 2 and GHC Reid Co. 1, ASCO Motors 1. NPI was idle.
