Boys HS season ends, make up games today

As for the varsity bracket, two teams need to make up their games that were washed out on
At the moment the top seed is Tafuna with 16 points while Samoana is second with 15 and Kananafou third with 13. The Wildcats round out the top four with 12 points, however, only the top three qualify for the postseason.
Tafuna and Kananafou have completed their entire schedule with the Warriors beating the Stallions 2-1 on
The Sharks were supposed to have played the Crusaders while the Wildcats were set to face off against Faga'itua. Other contests that were washed out on that Saturday will not be played because they have no affect towards the top of the leader board.
Today, those two games will be made up at at Pago Park Soccer Stadium. If Samoana beats Fa'asao Marist, they will be seeded No. 1 and receive a bye in Saturday's title match. Should they lose, Tafuna remains No. 1 while the Sharks play again on Thursday against either the Wildcats or Stallions.
If the Stallions beat Faga'itua today, they will be seeded third and knock Kananafou out of the top three, otherwise a loss will see the Stallions maintain their No. 3 slot at the moment and a shot at playing in the championship match on Saturday should they win the No. 2 vs. No. 3 playoff match scheduled for tomorrow at Pago Park Soccer Stadium at 4 p.m.
The semi-final and championship games will be held on a full size international length field.
Samoana is the defending title holder of the varsity division and they will be trying to make it back-to-back doubles for their school after their J-V squad completed a perfect 5-0 season to clinch their bracket's title.
In fact, Samoana clinched the title last month after winning their 4th straight game to give them 12 total points while their closest competitor only had 4.

For the varsity, Tafuna is 1st at the moment, followed by Samoana, Kananafou, Wildcats, Crusaders, Vikings, Dolphins and Lions.
In last Saturday's final competition, for the J-V division it was Sharks 7, Lions 1; Warriors 4, Wildcats 1 and Vikings 13, Dolphins 2. For the varsity, it was Sharks 3, Lions 0 by forfeit; Warriors 5, Wildcats 2; Stallions 3, Crusaders 3 and Vikings 7, Dolphins 2.
