March Madness- Day 3 Highlights

Kolonia, Pohnpei- On day three's competition starts out the evening with Pee 4- A.K.A Ng against the SDA Dolphins. With their height advantage, the Dolphins out-rebounded Pee 4 and converted most of it. Despite the star studded Pee 4 team, the Dolphins stunned Pee 4 with a score of 59-46. Pee 4 could only tie the game in the 3rd period and could do no better. The Dolphins kept kept their momentum and were victorious in the end. The Dolphin's star #22- Carlos led the way with 16 pts, Cain #11 donated 12 pts, while Ohsie #5 putting up 10 pts. Pee 4's score leader Tommy Lucios (#24) with 12 pts, Jayson Walter (#12) with 7 pts, while Ninster Lawrence (#15), Wallace Jacob (#13), and Giovonnie Panuelo (#22) each scored 6 pts.
In the second match of the evening was between the COM Sharks and Visual Impact. Visual Impact edged the Sharks 51-50. It started slow for the Sharks until the final minutes in the 4th period. Branson #24 was the score leader for Visual Impact with 16 pts followed by Joseph Artui (#6) 12 pts, and 6 pts contribution by Bradley wearing #21. Rinson (#22) top scored for the Sharks with 10 pts while Elvinus (#25) and Flow (#13) each contributed 8 pts.
The third match of the evening saw Kolonia and Old Schools in a coast- to- coast field goals from both sides. Despite age and fatique from the Old Schools, they still put up a good fight to the finish. It's the battle of experience and athleticism. Kolonia took the glory with 91-77 score. Once again, four players from Old Schools marked double digits but they felt short to the fast and sharp shooting Kolonia team. Hayworth (#4) lead Kolonia in the victory over Old Schools with 27 pts, Maverick Salvador (#21) also contributing big with 26 pts, and Will Hawley Jr. (#14) with 10 pts. The losing side saw four double digit scorers: Loatis Seneres #13 with 20 pts, Randy Germinaro wearing #25 with another 17 pts, Francisco Simram #5 putting up 14 pts, and Castro Joab #23 with 13 pts.
