The re-introduction of a National U22 Basketball Championships in the country has attracted 8 men's and 7 women team who will be participating in the event organized by the Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association and guided by Basketball Fiji. The tournament which commenced on Friday (16th October) will be completed on the 19th October with all finals played at Ed's court, Raiwaqa. In the men's division 8 teams have been separated into 2 pools where teams will play a round robin within there pools. After the round robin stages teams will crossover into the other pool during the knock stages until a out right winner is crowned. In the girls division each team will play round robin amongst each other with the top 4 finishes qualifing for a semi-final and final birth. All finals will be played at Ed's court while the men's pool games will be held at Indian College and PRS outdoor courts prior to the finals. In the women's division the pool games will be held at Ed's court from Friday and Saturday and at Indian College on Monday to complete the round robin. After the round robin stages the qualifing teams will play in the knock out rounds at Ed's court, Raiwaqa. The updated results could be accessed on the right hand link "Draws and Results".
