The Suva Basketball Association league draws have been release and have been uploaded onto the website (Click on the right hand link draws & results) which is scheduled to begin on Saturday the 06th February, 2010 at the Vodafone Arena. The association which has been revived again by Leonard Whippy and Gavidi Draunidalo has six men's and three women's teams currently affiliated to the association. The round robin competition will run for eight weeks which will give the teams and players much needed game time prior to the Easter Championships on the 30th March - 03rd of April, 2010. The association has already encouraged the formation of newly formed clubs such as Air Iguana and Suva Veterans and are anticipating that other clubs will join in the weeks to come. The other clubs affiliated to the association are 2009 Easter Champs Shaq Attaq, Knights, Pitbull, Idaman, Goldern Bati and 2010 Rami Sami National Club Champions Saints.
