Boston bounce back

The Eroni Cinavilakeba Boston side bounced back with a 29-19 win over Baseliners in their second game on Wednesday to keep their hopes alive. The side lost to Saints 40-28 in their opening of the Post Fiji Easter basketball championship at the Vodafone Arena on Tuesday. They will need to defeat Nadi All Stars to qualify for the quarter final stages. In the other men’s pool, Warriors started their Easter campaign on a high recording two wins accounting for both Pitbulls and G Unit. The side defeated Pitbulls 35-21 in their opening game on Wednesday before accounting for G Unit 33-20 in their second match. In the women’s competition defending Easter women’s champion Wed C defeated the young Mixed Kulture team 39-9. In a major upset on Wednesday night Chosen lead by Vika Fifita defeated Suva champs Knights 34-26 in a very intense encounter.
