Adi Cakobau School looks to be the team to beat in the Under-19 competition at the Vodafone Arena yesterday.
The Sawani girls exerted their authority when they hammered Suva Grammar School 38-18 in the first day of the Tuckers Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championships
In other games, Latter Day Saints beat Ba Provincial 19-10 and Yat Sen beat Natabua 20-13.
In the U17,  St Joseph’s looks in total control overpowering eating Gospel 32-12.
In the U15,  LDS have been unbeaten in two games so far.
In the boys’ category, Natabua High U17 edged Marist Brothers 35-34.
Marist earlier beat Gospel High 30-16 while St Thomas upset Yat Sen Secondary, 44-22.
