Gospel wins

IT was double celebration for Gospel School of the Deaf after winning both the boy's and girl's grades during the National Special School Basketball championship at the National Gymnasium yesterday.

Gospel beat Hilton Special School 38-22 in the girl's grade and overpowered John Wesley Primary School 29-2 in the boy's division for a double celebration.

John Wesley failed to find their rhythm after dominating the U10 and U12 grades in the national primary school basketball competition earlier this year.

Basketball Fiji's Laisiasa Puamau was overwhelmed with the performance of the school against John Wesley.
