The association league season is scheduled to begin on 31st January at the Vodafone Arena and will run up to the Easter Championships.

A team registration of $200.00 was implemented with cash incentive up of grabs for the winners of the A & B League Teams. In anticipating of the tournament National Men's Captain Leonard Whippy and assisted by BF's Development Officer Laisiasa Puamau conducted a Referees Clinic with players affiliated to the association. The clinic was held at the Suva LDS Chapel along Barry Road on 17th January between 6pm-8pm. The clinic focused on positioning of referees in a 2 men and 3 men referee format with game like scenarios, referee signals, new rules and general discussion on rules through questions asked by participants.

Overall the referee’s clinic was very informative and interactive.
