Test for Boston

BOSTON White will be out to continue its unbeaten run in the Raiwaqa Basketball Super League this weekend.

Today, the side faces USP, a test which will determine its position on the points table.

Boston White, which is laced with former Fiji under-19 reps, defeated the experienced Warriors side 35-22 on Wednesday night and look to be the in-form team.

With five rounds at hand, Boston White led by Fiji U19 rep Peter Gus overshadowed one of the top team in basketball, Warriors.

However, another test is yet to come, this time it's the mighty Raiwaqa Masters who have the services of former reps such as Peniasi Kainamoli and Laisiasa Puamau.

The Masters are the only other team that has not tasted the bitterness of defeat.

The Masters face MacPacers today while Boston White takes on USP.

Raiwaqa Basketball official Peniasi Kainamoli said the competition would gather momentum as it progresses.

"Right now, it is getting tougher and tougher," he said. "All teams are fighting for their spots in the top four and we are expecting more tough battles as the league progresses."

He said the feature match would be between Bryce and Mighty Mights.

The league continues at 11am at Eds court today.

Draws for today:

11am, Mystics-Chosen (W); 12noon, Boston White-USP (M); 1pm, Bryce-Mighty Mights (M); 2, Golden Bati-Westy Stripes 91 (W); 3, Raiwaqa Masters-MacPacers (M); 4, Lady Birds-Dynamic Redz (M); 5, Warriors-Westy Stripes 91 (M); 6, Boston Red-Philipinas (M)
