The National U20 Men's & Women's training squads has been identified and the 40 member squad for both men's and women's will need to be sanctioned first by Basketball Fiji's hardworking executives. A special meeting will be assembled between the executives, National U20 coaches and managers before the names could be released. Once the names have been approved a letter informing parents will be sent to each selected player. After the acceptance letters from players and parents have been recieved the names will be released on our website and to the local media. The squad members will be giving a fitness and strength home program to follow in the lead up to the National U20 Basketball Championships in October. The squad will come together on the 3rd Octobor for a 4 hour training camp to prepare for the National U20 Basketball Championships. The U20 tournament will be held at the Vodafone Arena from the 9th -12th October, 2009 and will be runned in partnership with the Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association.
