There is NO "I" in TEAM
Kids from the villages of Guam came together to make GBC's 2009 Summer Basketball League a success. What did they get out of it? New skills and new friends.
Majority of these kids do not come out and play for their school's basketball team because they feel that they are not ready for the things that the coach may expect from them. Basketball leagues or tournaments, like GBC's 2009 Summer Basketball, are open to anyone who meet simple requirements. Participants learn basic fundamental basketball skills including how to properly do a lay-up, jump shots, defensive skills, and many more.
