All basketball fans in Port Vila are invited to attend the clinics and workshops being presented by Annie. Annie is a former Australian National player, winning silver for Australia at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
FIBA Oceania launches visit in Vanuatu
Upon arrival at Vanuatu on Tuesday 27 may the secretary general of FIBA Oceania went straight to work in Port Vila by organizing the meeting with Floyd Banga concerning the disputed matters between PVBA and VBF.
A series of successive meetings have been held with both parties and a disciplinary committee will be hearing the case on Thursday 29th at 6.30 pm to decide on a penalty for the incident.
Regan Kama the Development Manager had a meeting with the VBF BDO, Peter Izono concerning his job description and they also did some work in getting FIBA Organizer to operate again for Vanuatu Basketball.
On Wednesday at 1.30 pm we have organized a press conference were both Steve and Regan had a chance to speak to the media via news paper and Television in the presence of members of the executive of VBF.
