Good start for the Lebanese National Team
Lebanon started its participating in the 32nd William Jones with a win over Japan on the score of 87-82 , the game was very hard for the Lebanese players who started their summer preparations from 10 days ago, the team had a slow 3 quarters but in the 4th they exploded the Japanese Team 35-18. Jackson Vroman led the team with 14 points despite playing 17 minutes , he was followed by Elie Stephan (11) , Ali Mahmoud (10) , Matthew Freije (10) and Ahmad Ibrahim (10).
In the second game of the tournament Lebanon met the host team Chinese Taipei , Lebanon led the game form the start but was the home Team kept the game very close by making some runs , the Lebanese players were answering back through Jackson Vroman and William Pharis , Jean Abed El Nour played its first game of the tournament and showed a big level.
Vroman led his team with 24 points , he was backed by William Pharis (13) , Elie Rustom (10) , Jean Abed El Nour (10).
Lebanon will face Iran Tomorrow in a very exciting game at 12am Lebanon time.
