Camp 2013 a Great Basketball Experience

Our 5th Annual Summer Camp 2013 did bring together some of the most enthusiastic and talented young basketball student-athletes in the country between the ages of 11yrs to 20yrs.

The camp was very successfull with 5 days of basketball skills training, leadership session, basketball games, and a tournament. This year Dynasty Basketball had the previlage of hosting the entire Mercer Bears Womens Basketball Team from Mercer University in USA. The team was led by its Head Coach Susan Gardner who is amongst the top Division 1 Womens Basketball Coaches in the USA. The Mercer Team joined forces with the great Dynasty Camp Coaching staff to put together another great Dynasty Camper that will go into the history books as one of a kind.

The Camp was climaxed with the first ever Division 1 Women's Basketball Team to play in a post season  game in Ghana. The Mercer Bears took on the Greater Accra Womens Basketball Team in a thrilling game which was dominated by the yankees. The game ended 105 : 21 with the Mercer Bears tearing the Ghana Team apart. After the camp Dynasty Basketball followed up with an All-Girls Basketball Clinic which was coached by the Mercer Women's players at the ICGC basketball facility in Abossey Okai after which the team played their second game against the Prisons Women's Team which ended with Mercer Bears coming up tops again.

The summer basketball activities was climaxed with the building of 3 houses by the Mercer Bears Team one of the main reasons of their coming with the Fuller Center Home  Project. Dynasty Camp Coaches and some of the campers joined them in the great act of service by building homes for less privilaged famillies in the town of Agomeda on the Somenya-Akosombo road.
