BVDL WEEK 14 GAME PREVIEWS

BVDL MEN

SANDRINGHAM vs BALLARAT

Saturday 30th June – 7:30pm

Sandringham coach Mark Chivers has finally got his team together and have won their past five games to move into the top four and are pressuring Dandenong for third spot.  The addition of Batish and McKinnon has seen them become Championship contenders.

KNOX vs NUNAWADING

Saturday 30th June – 8:00pm

Nunawading have lost three of their past five games and in danger of missing the playoffs.  A victory this week against Championship favourites Knox should be the confidence they need to finish the season successfully.

KILSYTH vs BENDIGO

Saturday 30th June – 8:15pm

Bendigo have lost their past four matches but have the potential to beat the Cobras this week.  To do so they will need to stop Brazier, Adnam and Murphy who are the major contributors for Kilsyth.

BENDIGO vs KNOX

Sunday 1st July – 2:00pm

Knox is a very deep and talented team and should be able to record the sweep over the Braves this week.

FRANKSTON vs DANDENONG

Sunday 1st July – 2:00pm

Dandenong sit in third position on the ladder after defeating Kilsyth last weekend and need to keep winning to keep their position.  The Rangers are ona five game winning streak and look to be championship contenders.

BVDL WOMEN

SANDRINGHAM vs BALLARAT

Saturday 30th June – 5:30pm

Both teams have experienced the highs and lows this season and this game should be a tight tussle.  Both have recorded a victory already this season so head to head advantage is at stake this week.

KNOX vs NUNAWADING

Saturday 30th June – 6:00pm

This is a must win game for both teams, as it may just determine their final placing at the end of regular season.  Head to head is equal with both teams recording a 20+ point victory at home already this season.  The fact this game is at Knox and they have an 8-0 record at home this year may just give them the edge they need to record the win.

KILSYTH vs BENDIGO

Saturday 30th June – 6:15pm

Bendigo currently hold fourth position on the ladder, but need to win winnable games like this game this week to keep a strangle hold on their playoff position. Kilsyth although sitting on bottom of the ladder have the potential to end their playoff aspirations as they are a far better team than their regular season record currently shows.

BENDIGO vs KNOX

Sunday 1st July – 12:00pm

Knox has defeated Bendigo comfortably in both games already this, but should not enter this game expecting an easy game.   Bendigo have gotten better as a team each week and Megan Moody is coaching the team well.  A big game from Cannan and Wild will be needed for them to secure the unlikely victory.

FRANKSTON vs DANDENONG

Sunday 1st July – 12:00pm

On paper the Rangers should win this game comfortably, but Dandenong have struggled against the lower ranked teams this year.
