Overview:
The Asian Club Championships & International Club Challenge is a regional tournament that is staged annually.
The event has been held in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok over the past years – since 2002.
The concept to stage the championships in Johor is so as to work as a catalyst for future development; promotion of the game and future growth. Certainly we would hope to attract ‘Malaysian’ based teams that are currently playing ‘Touch’ socially in Malaysia.
Categories: Open Men; Women & Mixed. Masters Men 30’s & 40’s; Senior Mixed
Participation Fees: Per team Entry Singapore $250 / Per player registration Singapore $160
The fees include entry to the tournament; morning tea on both mornings; a free flow of ice water throughout the tournament; some refreshments each day post tournament and the closing awards and party.
Official Hotels: Johor has a wide range of accommodation – the rate at the official hotel would be approximately S$60 including breakfast
Transport will be coordinated to / from official hotels for all teams free of charge daily
Getting to Johor Bahru, Malaysia:
Teams can fly directly into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the recommended transport is by VIP bus to JB – approximately 3.5hrs – there will be options for inbound groups on offer. One way ticket approximately Singapore $40.
JB is the closest Malaysian state to Singapore and is connected by a causeway / bridge. So close, that approximately 150,000 people travel across the causeway to Singapore daily for work returning each evening.
For groups arriving in Singapore – various modes of transport will be available – the most popular (and cost effective) will be by bus. Bus transport will be coordinated for all groups with drop off at the official hotels.

Promotion: The tournament will be promoted to all contacts in Asia so as to attract the widest possible base of teams.
The event will be promoted by FIT worldwide and directly to the Australia and New Zealand markets via TFA and TNZ.
The International Club Challenge is an important event with teams from outside showcasing the skills of the game.
