Round 3 of the nEbO “Youth in Touch’ Series was played at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 3 Age Categories – 18s, 20s, and 23s.
There were some great matches played during the day, showcasing the young talent that is playing Touch Football in Singapore.
Despite an hour break for lightning the day ran smoothly and finished on time.
The Womens 18s Final was played between Hwa Chong and the RP Little Rainbows. Hwa Chong ran out winners 8 touchdowns to nil. The Womens 20s Final was played between TPiranhas and RP Rainbows. In a very close game TPiranhas triumphed 2 touchdowns to 1. The Womens 23s Final was played between NUS and Underwadder. Again this was a very close game with NUS running out winners 4 touchdowns to 3
A special thanks has to go the 5 referees who completed the majority of games: Marlina Kasbi, Boo Hui Min, Maylene Leonard, Darren Blakeley, and Russell Kwa – a job well done and appreciated by all teams.
Thanks must also go to Marlina, Boo, and Karen Tham who continually assist by organising teams for these Junior Tournaments.
The nEbO team were on site handing out goodie bags and the new look 'Youth in Touch' Series T-Shirt to all new members. Thanks again to Club nEbo for their ongoing support for Touch Football through series of events.
