Singapore All Schools 2009

The Singapore All Schools was held on Saturday 23rd May and 33 teams competed across 6 Divisions - Girls: 14s, 16s, 18s, 20s and Boys: 18s, and 20s.


Lycee Francais School (LFS) was the most successful school winning 4 of the 6 Divisions on offer :- 14 Girls, 16 Girls, 18 Girls, and 18 Boys.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic defeated Singapore Polytechnic in a drop off to win the 20 Boys Division.

While Temasek Polytechnic defeated arch rivals Republic Polytechnic by an intercept to claim the 20 Girls Title.

In both the 14s and 16s Girls Divisions LFS defeated United World College (UWC), while they defeated Hwa Chong in both the 18 Girls and Boys.

Hwa Chong tried hard to add the Singapore All Schools crown to the National Junior College League title they won in April. It was also the Hwa Chong Boys first competitive Tournament.

Most of Singapores leading Touch Coaches were leading their teams on the day, with National Coaching Director Boo Hui Min directing the Republic Polytechnic teams, Marlina Kasbi TFS Development manager guiding the Temasek Polytechnic teams, Maureen Thomson leading the LFS teams, Shane Morris leading the UWC teams, Karen Tham guiding Hwa Chong, and a host of young coaches spread across the teams.
