Day 2 of the POL-ITE Games was one of shocks
The first was the Republic Polytechnic team being withdrawn from their game against Singapore Polytechnic.
The second was the 1 touchdown to nil win by Nanyang Polytechnic over defending champions Temasek Polytechnic.
In the other game Ngee Ann Polytechnic defeated ITE 13 touchdowns to nil
The win by Nanyang Polytechnic over Temasek Polytechnic was not a total shock though, as pre tournament discussion centred around an improved performance from Nanyang this year.
With Republic Polytechnic forfeiting and with the Nanyang Polytechnic win, the final outcome of the Tournament is very open.
Currently Nanyang Polytechnic lead the Table, and with both still to play Republic Polytechnic, there is no clear cut favourite.
