Day 4 promised a tough clash between the Ladder leaders Nanyang Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic, and the game lived up to expectations. Republic Polytechnic led 1 touchdown to nil at half-time and looked to have the game in their keeping after scorng a second. However Nanyang were not to be denied and came back with 2 late touchdowns to earn a 2 - 2 draw.
In the other games, despite an improved performance Ngee Ann Polytechnic went down to Temasek Polytechnic 7 touchdowns to nil.
While Singapore Polytechnic ran in 18 touchdowns against ITE
Day 5 will produce another intense game - Nanyang Polytechnic versus Singapore Polytechnic. This game is current No. 1 and 2 fighting it for the gold medal. The winner gets gold and the loser gets bronze. This game is all set to produce a fitting climax to the Tournament.
In the other games Temasek Polytechnic take on ITE and Republic Polytechnic will take on Ngee Ann Polytechnic in the final game of the Tournament.
