Day 3
Sunday - woke up early again and almost left our Sharks teammates at the apartment (because Greg drove off way too quickly). The sun was scorching even early in the morning! We played better together as a team and kept on going despite the giant obstacles (opponents!) that we faced.
Our defense was commendable in our last game against the Swans and kept them at 0-0 at half-time :) and even our attack got better as the day progressed.
And we watched the finals between Sunshine Coast and Sharks and it was a real eyeopener - the level of play and PACE of the game was nothing like we've seen before in Singapore and it was just the 16s category!
We're so proud of our Sharks friends for coming in overall state champs. We're also very very proud of our very own Coach's Player, Natasha Yeo who was named for her consistent play and Rachel Goh was named as the Player's Player! (:
We went to Esk for a bbq at Greg's ex-wife's house. It was a long long car ride to the faraway farm where we saw cows and horses and many dogs. There was a really cute little boy there who was Greg's grandson but Greg couldn't even remember his name! The food was wonderful thanks to his ex-wife's marvelous bbq-ing. (:
Alice had to leave us at night and we really missed her when she left. We all sent her to the airport for her 1145pm flight and we had our team meeting there before she left.
Boo is our friend too. (:
We went for Cold Rock ice cream on the way to the airport and there, we celebrated Nisa, Joleen and Gil's birthday with the most amazing birthday cake (:
Day 4
Monday - WE GOT TO SLEEP IN :) woke up at 8 and headed off to Dreamworld and had a lot of fun on the rides. Most of them went on the Giant Drop and Claudia chickened out of the mild (relative to others) Motocoaster. Heh heh.
Now since Boo has completed her side of the deal, our team is eagerly waiting for Greg to fulfill his side!
After Dreamworld, the team went shopping at the factory outlets and had the Red Rooster we were all craving for dinner.
Flying home was a sad affair because our team really became quite bonded on the trip.
Stuff we learnt about everyone:

Alice-is really funny!
Boo explodes into laughter
Claudia loses things like her things are free
Emily can't put her fourth fingers together
Eunice has a classic Eunice laugh
Gillian is the only one who can understand Nisa
Greg can't drive straight and is TRUSTWORTHY (right Greg?)
Helena is a hel child
Joleen is a roast duck like the one in Tom and Jerry
Nisa is WEIRD
Oats is a great navigator and talks to Greg about the weather
Rachel thinks she's a supergirl that's why she always flies on defense (dive touches that is)
Sha is the queen of burps
We had alot of fun on this trip and we were extremely well taken care of throughout (: a million thanks to those who made it happen for us and we love Greg, Boo, Oats and Eunice very much!
